Generational trauma is a significant experience for many immigrants from Mexico rooted in historical hardships due to the effects of colonialism, destroyed at the end of the exhibit with ritual intent, this work symbolizes the courage to face discomfort and embrace radical honesty, re-calibrating our DNA, transforming inherited wounds, and opening new possibilities for future generations.
